Your batches stay on the bench

This Policy explains how Jorxo — Sugar Pull Archive handles information. Jorxo is built as a local-first craft notebook: batch recipes, climate readings, pull timelines, process photos, voice transcripts you confirm, and Snapshot Cabinet favorites are kept on your device. We do not operate a craft-cloud that uploads your pulls for advertising profiles.

1. Data controller

For questions about this Policy, contact the Jorxo publisher at zofiakrawczyk91@outlook.com.

2. Information kept on your device

CategoryExamples in JorxoPurpose
Workshop session Local session flag, artisan display name, avatar file name, join year Open the Craft Bench / remember your corner profile
Batch archive Batch name, candy type, recipe card rows, temp / humidity, timeline nodes, verdict, bench notes Stamp, rack, study, and reuse pulls
Media Process photos; optional on-device OCR / voice transcript text you confirm into notes Document a pull and Smart Fill suggestions
Preferences Privacy agreement flag, Snapshot favorites Respect your choices inside Artisan Corner

Seed / demo batches shipped with the app are local examples for the Batch Rack. They are not collected from other users’ kitchens.

3. What we do not do

4. Permissions (iOS)

If you deny a permission, Jorxo falls back to manual entry. We do not repeatedly nag after a first denial; you can change access later in iOS Settings if you choose.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Adjust

Jorxo integrates the Adjust SDK for install attribution and product analytics (for example recording that you opened a workshop session or completed a first workshop entry). Adjust may process technical identifiers and attribution signals under its own practices. See Adjust’s privacy information at adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy.

If iOS shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt (for example asking whether to allow tracking across other companies’ apps and websites), you may tap Ask App Not to Track or otherwise decline. When you decline, Apple limits access to the advertising identifier (IDFA); Jorxo still runs core craft features.

6. Processing location

Craft records are written to the app sandbox on your iPhone/iPad as local files: batch archive data in on-device JSON, workshop settings in local preference files, and process media under a BenchContent folder. Smart Fill image OCR and Voice note speech-to-text run on-device (Voice note requires on-device recognition and does not fall back to server-side transcription). Matched fields stay local until you confirm and save.

7. Welcome guide

After you open a workshop session, and on later cold starts while that session remains open, Jorxo may briefly show a full-screen welcome / feature guide with a short product introduction and a continue control to enter the Craft Bench. That guide is part of the app experience and does not upload your sugar-pull records or media.

Separately, Privacy Policy, Terms, and Support documents may be opened in-app from jorxo-doc.pages.dev. Those legal pages are not the welcome guide above.

8. Sharing & third-party services

The in-app Share action only shares what you choose (for example a short batch summary) through the system share sheet. Third-party destinations you pick are outside this Policy.

Separately, Jorxo may use Adjust for attribution and analytics as described in Section 5. App distribution channels and device OS services may also process standard diagnostic or commerce data under Apple’s rules; that is not Jorxo uploading your recipe cards to a craft cloud.

9. Retention & deletion

Data remains until you delete a batch tag, leave/replace media, or use Erase local data / Melt the archive in Artisan Corner, which permanently removes local batches, snapshots, and workshop profile fields as implemented in the app. Uninstalling Jorxo also removes the app sandbox on that device.

10. Children

Jorxo is aimed at artisans who manage hot-sugar craft responsibly. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). Do not submit a child’s personal information through support email.

11. International users

Because records stay on your device, cross-border “cloud transfer” of your pulls is not part of the core Archive design. Opening Privacy Policy / Terms / Support in-app may involve a short network request to our hosted legal pages. If you contact support by email, the message content you send will be received by our support mailbox to answer you.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy when Archive features change. The effective date above will be revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
